Photo Essay in GLPS camp

 My name is Minsung Kim and I'm in 6th grade.

I'm from Daegu, Korea and I will write a Photo Essay about my time at GLPS camp. I started this Photo Essay on August 8th, 2013.

At English Building

            I took this picture in front of the English building and 

             I started doing Photo Essays.

           We studied about Writing with Murphy teacher.

           It was fun to watch videos about some people who                                       did photo essays.

At Kendo class

                       

                            I did Kendo in gym with wooden swords.

            We learned many positions and motions by our teacher.

                   We made 3 groups and showed the motions in 

           front of the teacher. I was a little shy but I did it all.

             It was a little hard but it was fun to do it.

Golf practice 

               We had a golf class at the golf practice center.

             My hands hurt but it was fun to do.

                 I learned how to hit the ball longer.

            I played a match with my friends so it was more fun.

          I hope to improve my skills some more.

Letter from my sister

                      I got my delivery from my mom and there were

           many snacks and other supplies.

               There was also a letter from my sister.

           I was so happy to get a letter from my sister.

               She stuffed toy money in the letter and told me to 

            buy some snacks with that money. 

             It was funny to read. I hope letters from her come more often.

Computer lab

              We went to Dasan building's computer lab

 to do writing class.            

               I wrote photo essays and other writings.

            I took a picture of the computer lab because everybody worked hard.

 I want to finish my 7 day photo essay safely.

 It was fun writing my photo essay.

Classmates

   The person who sits next to me is

 my classmate Jun hyeong Lee.
He is my classmate and 

he's friendly to me and kind to me.
He's good at English and playing soccer.
His dream is to be a diplomat.
I think he can be a good diplomat because

 he's good at English.
I wish I could meet him after this GLPS camp ends.
He's a good friend and I'll be more friendly with him

Debate TA

He's our Class 7's Debate teacher.

He's good at debate so he's good at teaching

us how to debate better.

I think he's handsome.

I like him because he's sometimes 

he makes us laugh.

I think my English Debate skills has improved because of this teacher.

I want to meet him after this camp.

MY CREATIVE WRITING (Zombie World)

Title: Zombie World

 In the year of 2135, there was a lot of people who live in human land which occupies half of the Jupiter, and there were also zombies who live in the zombie land which is another part of the Jupiter. In the past they fought each other a lot but nowadays, they tried not to fight each other. But the zombies made the plan to attack the human land. They decided the date to be May 4th, 2135. But the humans didn't notice.

 On a peaceful day May 4th, 2135, all the zombies came to extinct the mankind. Humans were dead in only 5 hours. Zombies were so crowded and they had a party to celebrate the human's extincted day. While zombies had a party two humans were alive. They were the Bill and Jane.

 The two children were lucky because they went hiking at the time when zombies came to attack. They didn't notice when they came down. After they saw the zombies having a party, Jane mistakenly screamed loudly. Zombies heard it and they stopped partying. The zombies saw Bill and Jane and said, "There's two more humans!!! Let's make them to zombies too. HAHAHA!!". Bill and Jane hid up the tree. Suddenly zombies climbed up and caught Jane. Bill hid perfectly so they couldn't see him. He was so sad and angry because the zombies broke the agreement. He went to find his sister Jane.

Movie review(Wizard of OZ)

 I'll write the movie review which I saw on Sunday. The movie's title was Wizard of OZ. Dorothy and other characters go to find the Wizard of OZ to make their wishes. And I think this movie was bad for 3 reasons.

 

 First, it has not good graphics in the background or other scenes. For example when Dorothy's house goes up to the sky because of a tornado it should be broken or shook a lot but it didn't shake a lot and just flew straightly up to the sky.

 

 Secondly, this movie's actors were not that good. Especially the Lion. The actor of Lion was too ugly and he just walked with his 2 feet and it looked too fake.

 Finally, It looked too unreal. For example, there were dwarves and witches, and flying monkeys. Also when the good witch comes, she comes by a bubble and flying over the sky. It was too unrealistic story.

  

 For these 3 reasons, the movie 'Wizard of OZ' was not good for me to watch.

My goals for 30 days

 I'll tell you about my 30 days challenge. I have 3 goals to achieve for 30 days. 
 At first, I'll not get yellow or red cards in GLPS camp. I will not fight, I'll not speak in Korean and I'll not do anything which is bad. I'll do my homework every time.

Secondly, I'll study hard between 7:00 to 9:00 pm. It's self-studying time but as before I'll do a 30 days challenge, I've slept for a while but from now on I'll study hard at self- studying time for my English studies.

 Finally, I'll sleep enough. We have to sleep at 10:30 pm but I've talked with my friend for 10 to 20 minutes so the next morning I'm very tired. For the next 30 days challenge, I'll always sleep at 10:30 pm. And then, I can make a good habit which is to wake up early in the morning.

 I'll do these 3 challenges for 30 days. I hope to do this for 30 days.

BILL'S BLOG

My name is BILL(Kim Min Sung). I'm from Daegu and I'm in 6th grade. My favorite sports is playing soccer and I'm also good at this. My favorite food is chicken. There are 5 people in my family including me. My favorite subject is P.E. I'm attending GLPS Camp and I'm having fun and learning English. My hobbies are playing soccer, riding bike, and listening to music. My favorite band is Green Day. Green Day's a little strange but their good at singing and they're unique. I want to be a sports reporter because I like sports. I'll have fun time studying at GLPS camp.
